The Professional Track refers to an advanced training program designed for exceptionally talented individuals who have either worked professionally in the field of musical theater or aspire to do so. Admission to the Professional Track is granted by audition only.
The purpose of the Professional Track is to provide comprehensive instruction and guidance to students on how to prepare for auditions in the professional Broadway, touring, or musical theater industry. The program aims to equip students with the necessary skills, knowledge, and techniques to increase their chances of success in landing roles and securing jobs!
The Professional Track provides a focused and intensive curriculum designed to meet the specific needs of students aiming for professional success in the musical theater industry. By honing their skills and knowledge through this program, vocal students can enhance their audition performances and increase their chances of securing roles in Broadway productions, national tours, or other professional musical theater opportunities.

In this track, students will receive specialized training focused on the specific requirements and expectations of professional auditions. They will learn a wide range of subjects, which may include:
Audition Preparation: Students will be taught how to select appropriate repertoire for their age and level. They will also learn how to tailor their performances to showcase their vocal abilities, acting skills, and unique strengths.
Vocal Technique: Emphasis will be placed on refining vocal technique, including aspects such as breath control, pitch accuracy, vocal range, diction, and projection. Students will work on developing a versatile and expressive singing voice capable of meeting the demands of various musical styles.
Acting and Characterization: Since musical theater auditions often require performers to convey emotions and portray characters, students will receive training in acting techniques and character development. They will learn how to interpret songs and connect with the audience through effective storytelling.
Audition Etiquette and Strategies: Students will be taught the professional standards and expectations for auditions. This may include guidance on appropriate attire, resume and headshot preparation, interview skills, and how to present themselves confidently in the audition room. They will also learn strategies for increasing their chances of receiving callbacks and ultimately booking the job.
