“Lauren is an incredible teacher. My daughter, Gabby started voice lessons with her when she was 6 years old. She wanted to sing an opera song “O Mio Babbino Caro” in Italian for her school talent show. She was already taking voice lessons but then Lauren was recommended to us. My daughter immediately adored Lauren and couldn’t wait to get her voice lesson. Lauren is patient and kind and really stresses the importance of proper technique for healthy vocals. She knows how to keep it fun. My child is very passionate and can get stuck in her latest (obsession) song. Lauren knows how to foster her passion and also get her to open her mind to new songs and styles that showcase her voice. Needless to say after my daughter sang her opera song there was not a dry eye in the house. People were blown away a 6 year old could sing such a complex song. Thanks to Lauren, she pulled it off. Later we moved to NYC. We continued lessons with Lauren off an on over the next 3 years. During that time my daughter got a manager and was auditioning professionally. Lauren coached her for auditions... not just voice but presentation, what song to pick, how to carry herself, walk into the room etc. Lauren has also been my go to for any questions in the business and has always responded timely. We have been to many voice teachers over the years, even longtime people who have been in the NYC biz for 25 years . Gabby always prefers to go to Lauren if she is available.”
